How to brush your teeth with the Sonic style

Effective plaque removal

All OMRON Sonic style toothbrushes operate with sonic technology.The sonic oscillation effectively removes plaque. For an ideal result touch the teeth or gums gently with the front end of the brush head and brush your teeth regularly.

Your Brush Head

You have the choice. Choose the right brush head for your needs
Triple Cleaning Head: Effective plaque removal with three different bristles.
Super-Fine Soft Bristle Head: For gentle soft brushing.
Point Brush: For cleaning braces or spaces between poorly aligned teeth.

Replace brush heads at least every three months or as soon as they visibly wear out.

Clean the border between teeth and gum: Move the brush slowly and don’t press too hard, only the tip of the bristles should touch the teeth.

Don’t forget the backside of the front teeth. Hint: Use the Point swing for perfect results and hold the brush vertically.

Clean the tooth facing and the top of the teeth. Move the toothbrush slowly from teeth to teeth.

Special Features for better results

Choose the cleaning mode (only available for Sonic sytle 458 and Sonic style 456) You can adapt the cleaning modes to your personal needs. An orange light indicates wide swing and a blue light indicates point swing. Wide Swing Mode: Double width stroke for gently cleaning the gap between teeth and gums. Point Swing Mode: Moves 1.5 times deeper in the vertical direction. Effective brushing of back teeth and the inner side of the front teeth.

Select your own speed with the Soic style 458 Choose your own speed to adapt to gum problems or to get used to the new sonic technology.

30 sec timer (available only for the Sonic style 458). Every 30 sec the toothbrush stops the oscillation for less than a second to guide the user to a systematic brushing of all teeth.

Brush for 3 minutes twice a day: All rechargeable Sonic style toothbrushes have a timer of three minutes. After 3 min the toothbrush automatically stops.
