o "P" mode is known as the "Pairing" mode. You can put the blood pressure monitor in pairing mode by pressing the transfer button (Bluetooth or Transfer) for 3-5 seconds. You will see a flashing "P" on the monitor.
o "O" mode is known as "Transfer" or “Sync” mode. You can put the blood pressure monitor in transfer mode by pressing the transfer button (Bluetooth or Transfer) once. You will see 4 small flashing squares on the monitor.
You will not be required to pair the monitor after replacing the batteries. To set the correct date and time on the monitor, follow one of the steps below:
o Set the monitor in transfer mode by pressing the “Transfer” or “Bluetooth” button on the monitor. Flashing “O” will appear on the monitor. Launch the app and tap the Sync icon in the dashboard to perform a manual sync of the monitor with the app. If auto-sync in ON, the sync will start automatically on launching the app.
o You can set the date and time manually on the monitor. Please refer to the instruction manual on how to set the date and time manually on the monitor.

Ensure that auto-sync is turned ON in the app. To check, tap on the (…) sign and go to Profile -> Connected Devices screen.
To turn off auto-sync in the app, tap on the (…) sign, go to Profile → Connected Devices. Each device will have an option for Auto Sync. Simply tap the “Off” button to turn auto-sync off.
Readings are transferred to the app within 3 minutes depending on location permission settings. If this process is not successful, you will need to re-pair the device.
There are 2 ways to recover your deleted readings from the app:
1. Re-pair your device and sync all data.
o In "Connected devices" section of the Profile find your device and tap ''Unpair".
o Then open Setting of your smart device and tap on “Bluetooth” setting to enter the Bluetooth option screen.
o Find your device and tap on the ''i'' icon (for IOS) or Gear icon (Android) to forget the device.
o Next, pair your device and tap on "Sync all data" under image of your device in the "Connected devices" section.
2. Manually add reading Manual Reading button, which is placed at the bottom of the screen in each section.
You can transfer all your readings by tapping the “Sync all data” button under the paired monitor in the “Connected Devices” screen.
No, you should not log out from the app if data transfer is in progress. You need to wait until the data transfer process is complete.
The sync animation means that the app is trying to transfer readings from the monitor if the Auto-Sync feature is ON. The transfer time may vary depending on the number of devices paired with the app.
If the sync animation keeps rotating and does not stop even after a minute (If you have only one device paired), just close the app and launch again. Alternatively, you can turn off the Auto-Sync feature on the “Connected Devices” screen.
If you want to delete your reading, open History section and choose the section from which you want to delete your readings.
o If your data being displayed as List, find the reading which you want to delete and scroll to the left, garbage bin on the red font will appear. Click on it and confirm that you want to delete.
o If your data is being displayed as a Chart, find the blue button ''List'' on the top right of the graph. By tapping on all your reading will be displayed in the List. Find the reading which you want to delete and scroll to the left, garbage bin on the red font will appear. Click on it and confirm that you want to delete.
Login/Account
To inform you about important service updates and maintenance, OMRON connect requires users to create an account. Account creation does not give OMRON permission to store or view your health data. OMRON connect will never sell your data to third parties or share data with anyone without your permission.

From the login screen, tap “Get help signing in”.

Enter the email address you used to create your OMRON connect account then tap "Reset Password".

You will see a confirmation message on the screen “Check your email inbox for the link to reset your password reset link”.

Go to your email inbox associated with the email address used for your OMRON connect account. Then open OMRON connect password reset email.

In the password reset email, tap on “here”.

Enter the new password in the “New password” and “Confirm password” fields.

Tap on the “Update password” button.

Once completed, you will see a message which states “Password updated successfully” message.

You can now re-open OMRON connect app and navigate to the login screen and use the new password to log in.

Data Security
Yes. We have implemented reasonable precautions to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Below are several measures to ensure that your information remains safe:
- All data in the cloud service is transferred via an encrypted connection, and all our databases are encrypted using modern security algorithms.
- We implement rigorous processes and procedures in OMRON Healthcare, such as training, and regular evaluation and assessment of measures taken.
- We regularly conduct third-party security penetration tests and code audits. This ensures any security issues are resolved before they have a chance to arise, and that data is properly guarded.
We encourage you to take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, phone, mobile device, and computer by, among other things, signing off after using a shared computer or device, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your log-in and password private.
We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or compromised passwords or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.
No, we do not collect or save your credit card details.
OMRON connect app requires specific permissions. Please note, you do not have to allow access to all these permissions. If you wish to review and/or disable some of these permissions, please navigate to your mobile device settings.
Below is a listing of permissions required for OMRON connect app and how we use them:

If you’re pairing or syncing your monitor with an iOS/Android device, you may be prompted to turn on “location services”.
Note that OMRON connect app does not track or store your location information.
o For Android, Location services access is required by Google to perform Bluetooth communication. Google changed its permission requirements beginning with Android OS 6.0. As a result, the “locations permission” is necessary to sync your OMRON monitors with your Android device.

o For iOS, location permission is required to support the “iBeacon” functionality of OMRON blood pressure monitors. With this capability, your readings will be transferred to the application without opening the application. If you deny location services, the app will not be able to sync data from the monitor.
Body Composition Monitor (Viva) /Connected Scale
o Your OMRON Body Composition Monitor with Bluetooth® can be paired with up to 4 different accounts at the same time. We advise to use 1 phone per account to avoid sync issues.
o ONLY set up current time and date manually in your Viva. DO NOT set up user data (date of birth, height, gender) manually in your Viva - do it in your OMRON connect app to avoid issues with assigning users.
o Each user has to create their own OMRON connect account on their mobile device and pair it with Viva.
o Ensure each user selects a unique user number (User 1, User 2, User 3, or User 4) when pairing. The selected user number can be verified in the “Connected Devices” screen.
- Open OMRON connect app -> More -> Profile -> Connected Devices.
- Tap on “Add new device” and choose the category "Weight Scale" -> ''Body Composition Monitor Viva''.
- The app will ask you to fill in your age, height, and gender to calculate BMI and other indexes correctly.
- Set up your goal.
- Turn on Bluetooth® on your phone and hold Bluetooth® button on Viva until flashing P will pop up on the Viva's screen.
- Assign user 1, 2, 3, 4 depending on the availability.
If you take a reading before pairing your Body Composition Monitor to your smart device, the data will not be uploaded to OMRON connect app. You must pair your monitor with your smart device first for the app to gather and retain data.
You can change your age, height, or gender both in the app or in your Viva. In the app go to More-> Profile-> Personal information. After changes are made, tap on ''Save''. In your Body Composition Monitor, press the button with an arrow to select change. To confirm changes, push "Set". To stop any change halfway, press on/off button.
You can delete your data in your Body Composition Monitor (BCM). Please mind that all your measurements will be deleted from both the Body Composition Monitor and OMRON connect app.
To save your data, download a report in preferred format (PDF, Excel, CSV).
To delete data, choose the data which needs to be deleted and press the button with an arrow to select “DEL”-> push ''Set''. When the blinking ''OK?'' appears on the screen, push "Set" again. To stop any change halfway, press on/off button.
ECG: OMRON Complete
Your Premium Service trial will start once you add (pair) your Complete/Evolve/M7 Intelli IT device in the OMRON connect app. You can check section "Pairing" on our support page to learn more about the steps. Please be informed that the offer is valid only for users who haven’t used 30-days Premium Service trial. In case of any questions please contact us at support-omron.connect@eu.omron.com for assistance.
o If an ECG recording is interrupted by a phone call or email notification, you would need to re-record it.
o When recording an ECG, do not run an app that excessively consumes the smartphone’s computing resources, makes a sound, or uses the microphone of your phone.
o Make sure the microphone and the ECG monitor of your phone works when recording an ECG.
o As the ECG device transfers data through ultrasound, please make sure to record an ECG sitting in a quiet place.
Your ECG data will not be deleted upon log out. You can delete the app to clear all the data.
OMRON connect doesn't have limitations in data storage. However, locally stored ECGs take up space on your phone: each ECG reading is about 18KB, limitations might be caused by your device memory.
Premium Subscription
Premium features in OMRON connect which will give you a better view of your health, including:
- Medication Tracking. This feature will remind you to take medication and show your adherence in consolidated premium report.
- Personalised Health Insights. These are daily, weekly, or monthly messages regarding your health with tips.
- Superior Consolidated Report. There you'll be able to check medication adherence, compare your measurements and activity to the people from the same age group and much more.
- Rewards. You'll get the gift cards for your health actions (tracking blood pressure, weight, taking medication etc).
- Care Team. This function will allow to share your measurements with your family, friends or caregivers. Take care of the ones you love.
- CardioSignal. You can measure your heart rhythm simply by using your mobile and detect potential atrial fibrillation with 96% accuracy*.
- Unlimited access to articles in Heart Education.

Yes, your first month’s subscription to OMRON connect Premium is FREE. After 30 days you will be charged the monthly subscription. You are welcome to cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel before the end of the 30-day free trial period, you will not be charged. OMRON connect Premium costs €9,99 per month or €79,99 for a year.
You can purchase a subscription by navigating to Rewards -> Learn more about subscription → See subscription options and choosing any one of the available options. The first 30 days are free of charge, after that you will be charged based on the subscription chosen.
All reward points are calculated daily. You should see updated reward points within 24 hours.
You will receive an email with the gift card redemption code from noreply-healthcare-EMEA@omron.com on your email associated with OMRON connect account. Check both: your inbox and spam.
No, your reward points will not change if you delete your readings.
You can read the insights from previous days, weeks or months in the Insights section. Tap on "more" button and choose ''Insights''.
You can turn off the insight notifications by navigating to More(…) -> Profile -> App settings -> and turning the “Notifications” option OFF.
Yes, you can use the premium features in the app until the subscription end date.
No, you will not get a refund upon cancelling your subscription. However, you can continue to use the premium features in the app until the subscription end date.

Yes, your current subscription purchase will be retained, and you can use the premium features in your Android phone. However, before the current subscription end date, please make sure to cancel the subscription in the Apple App Store to avoid auto-renewal. Once the current subscription from the Apple App Store is cancelled, you can make a new purchase from your Android device and continue using premium features. All your medication data, reward points, and premium reports will be retained.

Compatibility with other apps
Steps to enable other apps in OMRON connect app:
- On the app, go to “Profile”.
- Tap on “App settings”.
- Under “Share data with other apps”, tap “Apple Health/ Google Fit/ Samsung Health”.
- Tap “Link”.
- Enable the categories you want to share.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in if needed.
- Tap “Allow” or “Done”.
If you have allowed OMRON connect app to share and receive data from other health apps on your phone, OMRON connect app will share and receive the following data:

OMRON connect app can only share your data with Apple Health/Google Fit/Samsung Health when these apps are enabled within OMRON connect app.
General Questions
OMRON connect app helps you to control your health:
o It accurately collects and consolidates data from your OMRON device and your favourite activity app (Apple Health, Google Fit, Samsung Health). You can check your data including blood pressure, pulse, body fat, weight, activity levels and more in one smart device.
o The easy-to-follow dashboard within OMRON connect helps you make sense of your measurements and see trends in your data.
o Within OMRON connect you can create and share report with your health data with healthcare professionals or your caregivers.
o In Premium subscription you can track adherence of your medication, get rewards for your health actions and receive personalised insights about your health.
OMRON connect app is supported in Europe, Middle East (except Iran), the US, and Canada. OMRON connect can only be downloaded from Google Play Store and App Store if account country is in supported region (EMEA, US and Canada).
You will not be able to download the app from other countries.

You can export your data from the History section of the app. To do so, follow the below steps:
- Tap the History tab on the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the Share icon on the top right in the screen.
- Select the type of data you want to share.
- Select the date range for which you want to share the readings.
- Select the format you need, Excel, PDF, or CSV.
- Select “Email Report”.
- You are able to send Premium reports to other people. After choosing ''Email report'' enter the email address and note (if needed).
- Tap the Send button to share the report.
To make sure notifications are received, please ensure the following:
- "Notifications" are turned ON in Profile -> App settings in the app.
- Notifications are allowed by settings on your phone:
o Go to Settings on your smart device
o Select the “OMRON connect” app
o Ensure notifications is turned ON
- Download OMRON connect from Appstore (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Sign in with your credentials.
- Re-pair your device following the instruction within the app:
Tap ''More" button -> Go to Profile -> Connected devices -> Tap "Add new device".
Your readings are being transferred from OMRON devices to OMRON connect via Bluetooth, you can sync the data when you are not connected to the Internet. However, connecting to the Internet will back up your data to the Cloud (if you have agreed on using it). If the app is deleted before connecting to the Internet, data stored on the phone will be lost.
If you experience app crashes or freezes while using certain features, try closing the app and launching it again. If you still encounter the problem, please contact us at support.omron.connect@omron.com or assistance.
Currently, you cannot change the account email in the app.
Yes, but if you use power savings features, location services may be turned off automatically when your battery power is running low. You should be able to set up and sync normally after you charge your phone.
- Tap the Profile tab on the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the account settings icon on the top left in the screen.
- Select the option delete account.
If you are a premium user with active subscriptions, please make sure to cancel the subscription plan to avoid auto-payment on each renewal. For cancellation, you need to visit the App Store or the Google Play store to cancel the subscription.
