HeatTens

OMRON HeatTens is a dual therapy pain relief device that combines soothing heat with TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) to relieve muscle and joint pain. Unlike typical TENS units, it provides integrated heat therapy to enhance comfort, muscle relaxation, and targeted relief

HeatTens is intended to reduce and relieve muscle and joint pain, stiffness, and numbness in areas such as the back, shoulders, legs, arms, joints, and feet. It works by delivering electrical stimulation near the site of pain to block pain signals and promote improved blood flow.

HeatTens uses triple action TENS technology and heat:

• TENS stimulation helps block pain signals, triggers endorphin release, and encourages blood flow via muscle pumping action.
• Heat therapy relaxes muscles and supports circulation.
  Together, these dual mechanisms provide short and long lasting relief.

HeatTens includes:
• 3 massage modes: tap, knead, rub
• 6 body zone programmes: back, shoulder, joints, leg, arm, sole/feet
• 20 intensity levels
• Heat mode with two temperature settings (approx. 42–43°C, depending on skin sensitivity)
This ensures highly customizable therapy.

The device operates in 15 minute automatic sessions.
OMRON recommends up to 2 × 15 minute cycles per sitting, up to 3 times per day, depending on symptoms and comfort.

Safety guidance from the manufacturer states that HeatTens should not be used by:

• Anyone with a pacemaker, implanted metallic or electronic devices
• Pregnant individuals
• Children under 15 years old
• Users applying pads to head, face, neck, or both legs/both feet simultaneously
  These precautions ensure safe operation and prevent potentially dangerous effects.
